New Wagers in the Game of Craps

Seven on craps is a dangerous proposition. During the initial roll, it is considered to be an immediate winner unless you are supporting the don't wager every time that the number comes out during the dice roll, it is a disaster. The number seven has mathematical calculations in their favor. Out of the possible thirty six combinations that are possible in the dice, six of those possibilities are the number seven, which is a whole lot more compared with any other digits.

Those players that are courageous enough to place down a wager that the seven will come out on the next dice roll identifies it as the large red or red, afraid that even its mere mention will incur the ire of the other gamblers in the table. Aside from that, it is also a bad wager because the 4:1 payout has 16.67% casino edge.

The president and Chief Executive Officer of Casino Gaming LLC of Broadview, Illinois, Frank Mugnolo, is hoping to remove some of the danger of the number seven by the point seven, seven point and seven point seven wagers. The first two wagers have a casino edge of 11.1%. The last wager has a casino edge of 5.56%.

What Mugnolo has accomplished is get the number that has the biggest probability of getting out of the dice table and allow players to bet on its appearance without being severely affected with the big casino edge that comes with the wager on the Red. Mugnolo's wagers also add new complexity to the game giving gamblers the chance to use the number seven in their overall technique while still wagering that the craps dice will have to pass. If you want to make a point seven, you have to make a wager on the initial roll.

If the number two, three, seven, eleven or twelve comes out of the dice roll, then you will lose. If the point number comes out, the wager will be considered for the next round. If the dice roll produces a 7 out then the wager pays in a seven to one ratio. With the seven point, the wager is also made on the initial roll. If any number comes out during the roll, it will lose. If it is the number seven, the wager can be considered for the next round.

If that dice roll produces the number four, five, six, eight, nine and ten, the wager wins and you will be rewarded in a 7:1 ratio. Any other digit that will come out during the initial roll will only cause you to lose. The seven point seven is a wager that is done during the initial dice roll. If the number two, three, eleven or twelve comes out, you will lose. If the craps dice produces a number seven, the wager wins and you will be paid in 2:1 ratio.

If a point number is made, the wager remains for the next roll. If the number comes out during that roll, the wager wins and you will be paid in a 3:1 ratio any other number will only be considered a loser.

Majority of craps players who usually bet on the propositions like the hardways will find these wagers encouraging. The 5.56% casino edge on seven point seven makes it comparable to a field wager, which pays twice on the number two and twelve. It is now up to the casino industry to try these new craps wagers.
